Instructor
Dr. Ruggero is a hospitalist, or physician that specializes in managing the care of patients within the hospital. Dr. Ruggero practices at the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania and Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. He joined the Section in 2022 and currently serves as an Instructor in the Perelman School of Medicine. His interests include cardiology and medical education. Dr. Ruggero plans to purse a fellowship in cardiovascular diseases.
Dr. Ruggero earned his medical degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia.
