Instructor
Dr. Maura Williams is a hospitalist, or physician that specializes in managing the care of patients within the hospital. Dr. Williams practices at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Good Shepherd Penn Partners. She joined the Section in 2021 and currently serves as an Instructor at the Perelman School of Medicine. Her interests include global health, point-of-care ultrasound and medical education.
Dr. Williams earned her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine and completed her Internal Medicine residency at UCLA. She also went on to complete a clinical ultrasound fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
