Dr. Erik Tan is a hospitalist, or physician that specializes in managing the care of patients within the hospital. Dr. Tan practices at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. He joined the Division in 2025 and currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the Perelman School of Medicine. His interests include medical education, clinical operations and ultrasound. 

Dr. Tan earned his medical degree from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and completed his Internal Medicine residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
