Clinical Sites and Services

The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) is the flagship academic site of the University of Pennsylvania Health System and is located in the University City section of West Philadelphia. It is consistently ranked as one of the top hospitals in the United States. We staff several different services at HUP. 

The Penn Presbyterian Medical Center (PPMC), a core training site for Penn students and residents, has an outstanding track record of medical accomplishments — such as creating one of the first coronary care units in the country — and it continues to provide leading-edge care as part of Penn Medicine. We staff several different services at PPMC. 

Good Shepherd Penn Partners (GSPP) provides inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation and specialized long-term acute care throughout the Philadelphia region and is the official therapy provider of Penn Medicine. We provide consult services on the rehabilitation unit and hospitalist services on the long term acute care unit. 

Since July 2022, we have faculty on the housestaff services at HUP Cedar, a safety-net hospital located in the heart of the West Philadelphia community. Cedar is a primary training site for residents from the Mercy Catholic Medical Center program.
