Dr. Daniel Montes is a hospitalist, or physician that specializes in managing the care of patients within the hospital. Dr. Montes practices at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. He joined the Division in 2025 and currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the Perelman School of Medicine. His interests include medical education and research. In addition to English, he speaks Spanish and German.

Dr. Montes earned his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine residency at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science in Minnesota.
