Dr. Ruchika Bhatnagar is a hospitalist, or physician that specializes in managing the care of patients within the hospital. Dr. Bhatnagar practices at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. She joined the Division in 2025 and currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the Perelman School of Medicine. Her interests include medical education, patient safety and quality improvement. In addition to English, she speaks Hindu and Urdu.

Dr. Bhatnagar earned her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine and completed her Internal Medicine residency at NYU Grossman School of Medicine in New York.
