Dr. Sean McBrayer is a hospitalist, or physician that specializes in managing the care of patients within the hospital. Dr. McBrayer practices at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. He joined the Division in 2025 and currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the Perelman School of Medicine. His interests include medical education, patient safety and quality improvement.

Dr. McBrayer earned his medical degree from Central Michigan University College of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Illinois.
