Dr. Shwetha Sudhakar is a hospitalist, or physician that specializes in managing the care of patients within the hospital. Dr. Sudhakar practices at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She joined the Division in 2025 and currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the Perelman School of Medicine. Her interests include pediatrics and medical education. In addition to English, she speaks Tamil and Spanish.

Dr. Sudhakar earned her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, and Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital in Ohio.
