Dr. Youssef Elfatatry is a hospitalist, or physician that specializes in managing the care of patients within the hospital. Dr. Elfatatry practices at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. He joined the Division in 2025 and currently serves as an Instructor at the Perelman School of Medicine. His interests include medical education and patient safety. In addition to English, he speaks Arabic.

Dr. Elfatatry earned his medical degree from Cooper Medical School of Rowan University and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Pennsylvania.
