Assistant Professor
Dr. Emily Chan is a hospitalist, or physician that specializes in managing the care of patients within the hospital. Dr. Chan practices at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Penn Presbyterian Medical Center as a hospice and palliative care provider. She joined the Section in 2022 and currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the Perelman School of Medicine. Her interests include medical education and palliative care.
Dr. Chan earned her medical degree from University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and a fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
