Dr. Joyce Kim is a hospitalist, or physician that specializes in managing the care of patients within the hospital. Dr. Kim is the Assistant Chief for the Division of Hospital Medicine and the Medical Director of the Inpatient Medicine Services (Martin) at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for the resident and APP services. Dr. Kim practices at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She joined the Section of Hospital Medicine in 2016 and currently serves as an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine. Her interests include quality/safety and process improvement, hospital operations, and facilitating challenging patient encounters.
Dr. Kim earned her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine and completed a medical residency at Yale University. She is Six Sigma Green Belt Certified
