Leila Ndong, MD

Associate Professor

Dr. Leila Ndong is a hospitalist, or physician that specializes in managing the care of patients within the hospital. Dr. Ndong practices at the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania and Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.  She joined the Section in 2016 and currently serves as the Associate Division Chief for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion as well as an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine. Her interests include vulnerable patients, facilitating difficult patient encounters, sickle cell disease, management of inpatient oncology patients

Dr. Ndong earned her medical degree and completed her Internal Medical residency at Indiana University.
