Instructor
Dr. Sophia Golec is a hospitalist or physician that specializes in managing the care of patients within the hospital. Dr. Golec practices at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. She joined the Division in 2023 and currently serves as an instructor at the Perelman School of Medicine. Her interests include medical education, palliative care and quality/patient safety. Additionally, she speaks French, Spanish and Polish.
Dr. Golec earned her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, Cleveland, Ohio. She completed her Residency at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York.
